How to read a Certificate of Analysis
Every certificate below contains the same elements. Here's what each one tells you — and what to look for whether you're reading ours or a competitor's.
- Compound name & batch identifier
- Verifies the compound being tested matches the product label. Each batch carries a unique ID traceable from receipt through to fulfillment.
- Test date
- Peptides degrade over time. A recent test date confirms the released batch was verified close to fulfillment, not pulled from old stock.
- HPLC purity %
- Measures what percentage of the sample is the target compound. We require 99%+ — anything below that contains too many synthesis byproducts or degradation products to qualify for release.
- Mass Spectrometry result
- Confirms the molecule's identity matches the published structure. HPLC tells you how pure the sample is; MS tells you what the sample actually is.
